Classes Offered: Slow Flow

Rachel McCarthy
Classes Offered: Power Vinyasa
As a Colorado native, Rachel’s passion for yoga started with her love of movement. It has continued to grow through Rachel’s desire to dive deeper into understanding and appreciating all that our bodies do for us. Rachel grew up moving: dancing, running, climbing, biking. Following high school, Rachel spent 7+ formative years learning (Creighton U in Omaha) and serving (the Dominican Republic, Guatemala, Peru), which led her to discover yoga as a beautiful union of what our minds, bodies, & hearts are collectively capable of – for ourselves, for others, for this planet. Having moved to Fruita after completing graduate school in Clinical Social Work and Public Health in 2016, Rachel is excited to continue utilizing yoga as a modality for transforming lives and finding balance – through cultivating self-
esteem & confidence, learning to listen to & honor our mind-body connection, and gaining insight into our own worthiness & power.
